Let us not forget this isn't the first man to commit suicide by hanging after being pushed away by Don - remember his half brother back in I think Season 1? I'm sure that's weighing on Don's mind as well, that's a lot of guilt for one person to carry, whether or not you consider their deaths his fault or not, he certainly had a part in what lead them to their devastating final choice...
