I like the mobster guys as characters - of course not as humans, but as characters they bring comic relief (to a comedy). Not sure I'd be as gung ho as Kevin with the "yeah sure, I'll make any deal you want, free apartment!". J&K were willing to do a deal with the mobsters w/o anything in writing, but wouldn't do it with the FBI guy...interesting juxtaposition! Originally airing on February 25, 2022, 'Interesting People on Christopher Street' is Episode 4 of Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It is the 30th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 7.7, placing it as the #7 ranked episode of this season and #29 out of all the episodes shown so far.

I find this so interesting, because if this wasn't the first ASP show you'd seen, I think your expectations of a tight plot would be much lower 😂they're generally more about inhabiting a world with these vivid characters, their relationships in community, and the quippy dialogue. In real life, almost none of us have family members and acquaintances going on intense plot journeys, but we can all relate to a mother that doesn't really try to understand you, a weird guy in a bar asking you to pick a card, and the affinity you feel for these people and their stability in your life, even if it is difficult or uncomfortable at times.

You do have to suspend disbelief but the dialogue and story is so good that you don't even notice
