i adore this episode so much, it's so touching

Yes, this was a one-off stand-alone Christmas special episode, such as the British series so often like to do. Favorite Christmas movie? I loved A Christmas Story at first (saw it in a theater), but then my family overdid it when we all got together that year, put it on near-constant replay, and I kind of went off it. It's still cute, though. My own favorites go back a ways: A Christmas Carol, the George C. Scott version. And The Shop Around the Corner, which TCM is usually kind enough to show at the proper time. Solid choices Del! I could never get tired of A Christmas Story. I could watch Bob Clark's masterpiece now and still have an amazing time with it.
