Question for you: I noticed watching this two-parter, that characters in the show repeatedly call the president "leader of the free world" and even you do it at one time. Is that an expression that is still used in the USA today? I´ve only heard it in older shows and movies. I´m from Germany and the expression "leader of the free world" always bothered me, because I consider myself free but I definitely never recognized Obama, Trump or Biden as my Leader. Thank you, but I´m fine with Angela Merkel and Olaf Scholz. Just a question that popped into my mind while enjoying your great rections.

Man that's a tough one. When I was a kid that is what The President was. "Leader of the free world." It's a title that was given in better times. Something to aspire to. Sadly I think times have changed. I don't wanna answer how I feel about this and piss anyone off so let's just say it's dated.

Thanks for the reaction! I enjoyed it as usual. This is one of the funniest episode intros with CJ and the snake in the barn hahaha. Also, Bruno's first episode! I have a real love/hate relationship with him (the actor who plays him is so good). Crazy to see a younger Connie Britton starring in this too! I really felt sorry for the staff, especially CJ here, and am glad Bartlett finally decided to apologise it was about time!
