I had a similar experience with a burst cyst where the doctors didn’t believe me and thought I was just there for drugs. Even after they did a scan and saw the cyst. It was years of me fighting and when I finally found someone who took it seriously, it was too late for laparoscopic and I had to have serious surgery. This is a common issue for women- not being believed about knowing when something is wrong with our bodies.

That's so frustrating. I've been to the doctor for much minor situations and been misdiagnosed. Can't imagine the frustration that must have caused.
