I played with Barbies well past the age my peers would think it was acceptable. I felt ashamed about it, but looking back I just loved storytelling. I was basically writing scenes and stories and acting them out with dolls. Once I discovered theatre I grabbed on to that with both hands and never looked back. + The level of realism in this depiction of being a middle school girl in the late nineties / early 2000s is UNREAL. It feels like a documentary, and I'm uncomfortable with it. 😂 + watching you watch this with your hands over your face is giving me life. 👏 + I keep editing this post because there's just so much I want to comment on. I beg your pardon. 😁

I remember being 13 and being desperately fascinated by the “bad kids” and wanting their acceptance so bad (while being mostly too scared to do the bad things). Very relatable

It's all good! Add whatever you like. We love our community on here. We all played with toys but I have a suspicion everyone played with them longer than they liked to admit. No one really told you when it was time to stop! Life picks up and suddenly you have no time or something bigger and more interesting comes along, like inhaling computer cleaner and drinking beer in someone's mom's garage.
