This episode is a fan favorite and is highly considered the turning point in the show.

So nice to watch this episode and just feel the warmth of its feel-good factor. As you mentioned, it’s great to look back to season 1 and see how far they’ve come and how much they’ve grown, as individuals and as a family. Moira telling the kids that she loved them was, I think, a pretty big deal - I’d be surprised if that’s something she would have said so sincerely before they moved to Schitt’s Creek. And Alexis and David saying it back (even with the eye-roll) was pretty special too. Fabulous episode!

You nailed it -- this season was about Acceptance, season 1 having been Denial. (Sort of leaping through the standard stages of grief.) Where we go from here will be very interesting indeed.
