Agreed with you both, the brilliance of this show is it is taking people who would in real life really would be unlikable and hard to root for, but makes them so sympathetic and they all grow and change in different ways while always remaining true to themselves. Like with Alexis, she grew so much this episode, and yet at the same time she never really changed her core personality or gave up any part of herself, she just evolved.

"I think he changed me a bit. He knows me. I let him know me." Ugh. That's just a gut-punchingly honest, vulnerable, well written line. That's the heart of intimacy, right? To know and be known. It's a risky thing to do. But we need to do it.

Oh! and what an interesting point about the hair for Alexis. I think that in addition to being "a kid thing," playing with hair is also a coquette thing. But perhaps the endpoint is the same: she will rely less and less on that as she develops more facets beyond her sexuality.

That line was such a refreshingly grown-up realization from Alexis. It was sad, but it showed so much growth!

I was home sick today with a head cold, so I caught up on all of your Schitt's Creek reactions on Youtube. Now I'm over here hitting refresh as I await the next CXG reaction.... No pressure, but it's basically the reason I'm still awake.... 😆

Obviously I think in a relationship communication is key and if you’re close to someone you should talk to them but for things on someone’s own body I feel like it’s not everyone’s duty to tell their partner honestly. Like some people do surprises on their couples.
