The thing is it's complex, Kendall didn't ruin it as much as you first thought because he got the vote of Illona( with her absence, Logan would've won even if Roman didn't fucked up) and he couldn't have anticipated the terrorist attact. As much as I root for Ken, the show is very interesting when Logan wins because he represents the system with things and people working for his favor ( the terrorist attack, the board members) .When I first watched this ep i was mad at Roman but now I feel sorry for him in the end because clearly Logan has so much power over him, the abusive dad that he is. Also I love the needle drop at the end, the lyrics of the song being about union workers is so ironic

I think the comment made in the beginning about Stewy being the only character who enjoys eating is very pertinent, I've seen people saying it before. I think the show tries to show wealth in the most miserable way( they're rich but almost everyone seem to not actually enjoy it, and the fact that Stewy does is meaningful. This episode is incredible but the next one was the one that made me really fall in love with both Ken and the show, things are about to get crazy

and no one was nominated for the emmy for this season which is insane, but it won for writing for the finale; jeremy's strong performance in the finale is definetely the highlight for me, he was snubbed at the emmys but won for s2 and brian won the globes for s2

LOL one of many tough episodes for Team Kendall. The next episodes of the whole series are great. I consider episodes 1-5 of season 1 a bit of the introduction but this episode and all the ones ahead are mint! I'm a new subscriber and Patron, I love Succession and y'all are going to enjoy the ride.
