Eren did have moments (season 1 comes to my mind first) where he tried to stop mikasa from being in the front lines. He was just aggressive and indirect about it lmao All those times he told mikasa not to join his squad was just him trying to keep her safe (he was always in the danger zone). The most clear scene of this is during the first battle they have right after they finished training. The new recruits were sent to keep titans at bay while the elite had to guard the civilians trying to escape (the elites had the safer position). Mikasa wanted to go with Eren (who was directly in battle with the titans), but Eren literally headbutted her and told her to go with the elites.

Don't think this constitutes a spoiler, as it's just fan debates and stuff never mentioned in the show, but just in case I'll put this warning here just in case you don't wanna read it anyways. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . There are a LOT of debates about the father of Historias child, lots of people (myself included) think that Eren is actually the dad and they just say it's this random dude for safety.

Eren has protected every single one of them, he tried to stop Mikasa and Armin from joining the scouts, he tried to convince Jean, Sasha and Connie to go to military police, when Annie was chasing the Levi squad he tried to turn into a titan and didnt do it because Petra asked him to trust them, he took all of the experiments that Hange did when trying to figure out how did his powers worked, even in this episode he did everything he could to protect Historia. Eren is the best thing that has happened to this world I love him so much.

Fun Fact: the reason Levi is so short is because he grew up without sunlight ☀️ in the under ground city 🌑 Remember in the OVA episodes

Levi's little remark about the Scouts growing up is funnier in the dubbed version. He looks at them and says "you brats got taller, it's like you're sprouting up just to spite me". Levi will always be our short king

I feel like y'all are underestimating A LOT how much Eren cares for everyone, but Mikasa specifically. Like there's a whole scene at the end of S2 where he stands in front of a titan barehanded to protect her and promises he'll wrap her scarf around her as many times as she wants? idk it was pretty memorable to me when i first watched the show LMAO

Yeah they agree 8 episodes in total , with Levi and Annie’s stories being the most important
