Evan Call the person behind the OST, dude is a legend, he's also the guy behind Frieren Beyond Journey's End OST.

Violet Evergarden is absolutely an S tier anime, one of those series you can watch over and over and it will still hit you hard every time. It's one of the best anime ever made. As for what to watch next, Konosuba season 3 will be starting soon so you should watch the spin off/Prequel series An Explosion on this wonderful world. You've watched a lot of anime that's made you cry, you should take a break from that and watch one that will make you laugh.

I think you guys should check out 'A Place Further Than The Universe'. It's another show on the shorter side that I think you'll enjoy!

Bawling my eyes out is not a great way to start a weekend 😂🤧

You made it! And I cried another few rivers once again! I cried so hard when they finally were face to face again. I still need a side story for Claudia raising his own kids. That man was a silent MVP of the series. It was the perfect movie to follow the entire series. It totally made me hand-write a few letters after I saw it!

Evan Call really pulls off a master class in composing for this movie's OST. He also does Frieren's OST!

I saw you post the video for watching the show on youtube and had to come over here and subscribe for this. Violet Evergarden is probably my favorite piece of fiction I've ever epxerienced and I love getting the chance to see other people do so. Thank you for letting us share that. I heard a mention of wanting to see what the post-reunion life on the island was like for Violet and Gilbert. The movie's plot is original material from the studio, Kyoto Animation, which also published the original source material. They've released a lot of merch for the franchise, including this image in a calendar, so it can be considered canon https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fl8ht91njzj471.jpg

Ya know it's interesting that you mention emails and electronic messages, because I've stumbled upon the 600+ micro emails in gmail from a time when the Love of my teenage years and I would send back and forth when we couldn't be together. They're still there and they brought both tears to me eyes and a smile to my mouth. Letters truly carry a lot of power and this show is probably one of the best shows I have ever watched and despite its ability to make me cry every time, I come back regularly.

Same here!!! ... I had to see if they reacted to one, if not the best movies of all time, story, animation, music, character development! .... Everything was perfect ... I'm only mad at myself not going to the theater to watch it ... although it might be good that I didn't because I was bawling my eyes out despite this being me 4-5 th time watching it

The last shot symbols that she was here and things she’s done will forever be remembered throughout history. It’s nostalgia because we humans love information and knowledge of past events. It’s also symbolic to the Auto memory doll mato about them traveling.

Its been awhile since this was uploaded but if by chance you guys see this I suggest watching this video "A Veterans Reaction to Violet Evergarden" by Animarchy History. It gives a great perspective most people never see or think about when considering Violets demeanor from a military lifestyle to a civilian lifestyle and its an overall great interview.
