While it's understandable that mother is seen as a bad person. IMO she also deserves to be understood. She probably really liked him, but didn't plan to get pregnant. Being an heir to the company is a lot of pressure to begin with, but then also being part of the scandal (having a child while at uni and out of wedlock in the Korea of 90s...) Is a bit much... Abortion was her choice and she has every right to make this choice.

Didn't realize we have a second overlapping actor between this show and the glory, but the reporter in this episode also play's the attorney in the Glory. Just a little fun fact! Got a little teary eyed rewatching this one. Familial relationships always get to me.

idk. i could be wrong but i saw the villagers actions more like a "well, its looking like we're gonna lose this case so if im getting kicked out, might as well get money out of it" because they did seem hopeful at first until about halfway when it was looking impossible to win.

I love your "angry" rants about the show being not as happy as you wanted lol I do like how Tae Su Mi is depicted here tbh her whole story and decision are very complex, not one dimensional villainy cartoonish and I personally think you can understand why she wanted the abortion at that point in her life

I think this was a good episode and we got to see a beautiful moment between Woo Young Woo and her mother :) I have seen the actress playing Tae soo mi in many k-dramas and she always is stunning! She plays the roles very well: both bad and good characters. You should see Dr. Romantic (also called Romantic doctor Kim). She plays the head nurse at a small town hospital. Dr.romantic has 3 seasons and it's about the medical staff at a hospital and the medical emergency cases that they encounter.
