I just want to point out to you guys why Young-woo’s friend said her dad’s name and her uncle’s name is funny and how her grandfather put no effort in it since you guys probably didn’t 100% get it. Dong-il, Dong-i and Dong-sam. il, i,and sam are literally 1,2,3 in Korean so they are literally named Dong-one, Dong-two and Dong-three in the order they were born lol

To add on to the dong dong-one, dong dong-two, dong dong-three explanation, her grandfather’s name is wonbin, which is the name of a very famous actor in south korea who’s known for being extremely handsome, which is why she was laughing at the contrast of the names haha I love how into the show and all the characters you’re getting! And I fully agree, youngwoo is so likeable. I love her relationship with the boss so much.

Just cus you aren’t explicitly saying he’s right or wrong doesn’t mean you aren’t spoiling major plot points. Like do you think he wants his prediction to be validated through the comments, or he’d rather find out if he’s right by watching the show?

Wow...things got heated with your opinion on the money splitting. 😅 Just remember this show is meant to convey the issues and different people in society, rather than teach people how they should/shouldn't act in certain situations. Things don't always work out perfectly or in our favourite characters' best interests. And most of the time, the show is meant to get you to think about what you would/wouldn't do, what is right/wrong in your books and what you could learn from each of these people's experiences.

If you ever think that you guys are going off on tangents during a reaction just know that because of the sunset scene where they talked about dolphins near jeju island my mom and I went on a whole 1-1 1/2 hour tangent about jeju, the famous female divers of jeju island, the kind of matriachy and feminism that must have developed there compared to mainland Korea because of them, the Japanese sea, the pacific ocean, life in Costa Rica and muuuuch more lol 😂😂

They made it so, to portray how big it was for elders in the family to bow and apologize in Korean tradition or any Asian tradition perhaps. But I agree, it’s complete bullcrap. and they didn’t give off sincere apologetic vibes
