In some countries filling up someone’s car at a gas station is a job. I know the country my parents grew up in (Nigeria) when you get to a gas station there is a person at every “section” ig I don’t know it’s called, But you just roll down your window, tell them what you want, how much, pay them and they fill it up for you and you leave. I also know something like that happens in some gas stations here in Canada. Only seen it once tho.

Oh and since you mentioned the boy in the Bahamas accident, he was from my town in Louisiana. He had just graduated and the fancy school always takes their graduates on trips. But yea he was dared to jump off (while intoxicated) but it was night time and its probable that a wave took him away. And knowing how infested the waters are, his family is very distraught, especially since they weren't there & it was still technically a school trip. So they blame the adults as well as him & his friends because 1) where were the adults, 2) his friends should've stopped him.

So j-hope's toast was featured on an episode of this series of a popular web food show where they take celebrity recipes and pit them against other celebrities or professional chef's recipes. j-hope's breakfast toast went against a breakfast toast by Gordon Ramsay...and j-hope's toast won in a blind vote. Three people tasted both not knowing who the chef's were. j-hope's won 2-1 and the deciding vote said she voted for j-hope's because it made her smile. Which I think is so cute and perfect because that's our Hobi for us. haha

Some states in the US don't allow people to pump their own gas. I grew up right on the Oregon/Washington border and in Washington we could pump or own gas but in Oregon an attendant had to do it for us. I can't tell you how many times I sat behind the wheel of my car in Washington waiting for the attendant to come only to realize I wasn't in Oregon and had to do it myself. haha. But early this year Oregon voted to allow Oregon residents to pump their own gas too. I'm not sure if there are any other hold outs but it's state by state here.

tbh hobi’s toast seemed like a normal breakfast sandwich to me 😭 he just combined jam and butter with eggs and bacon. I add jelly to my breakfast sandwiches all the time lol

I just subbed so I’m commenting late. I actually tried Jhope’s toasted bread recipe a few times and it was so good. I was skeptical the first time bcos of the jam but when i tried it, the sweetness of the jam and the savory taste of bacon/ham and scrambled eggs is sooo good. It goes well together. There’s this popular youtube channel who also tried a few celebrity toast recipes and they included Hobi’s. His recipe was the most popular among the taste testers. Lol. It’s a must-try.
