You did miss a small joke since you just happened to push pause like right at the punchline lol. During Tahani's death flashback, the interviewer mentions that both she and Kamilah would be friends because they're both only children. Upon seeing Tahani's look of anger/shock, she corrects herself saying, "I forgot about you."

No, no lol. The interviewer was saying that she and Kamilah were only childs, as in no siblings. She completely forgot that Tahani even existed even though she was interviewing her. Yeah I wrote that confusingly the first time I tried to explain it.
