Hey! Guess what? Geillis is alive! They made her hair blonde, because apparently red hair grows more blond rather than grey with time. The scene was creepy, but oddly fitting her character. She's got more and more bonkers as she grew older. The slave market scene was so horrible and I don't blame Claire for reacting the way she did. She definitely sees Joe when she looks at the man. Fun fact, I'm not sure you've noticed that Geillis's name is Abenarthy in Jamaica, which makes it quite possible one of her slave was actually an ancestor of Doctor Joe, as it was common that slaves took the names of their masters. The eye sex at the ball was better than many actual sex scenes. Their chemistry is unbelievable. Of course Lord John would be in Jamaica. There are a lot of weird coincidences like that in Diana Gabaldon's books. Still, can't complain about seeing Lord John again. I love him so much, he's such an amazing character. He really loves Jamie and he basically becomes a guardian to his various family members at different times. Geillis and Claire...the term frenemies might as well have been invented for them LOL As always, loved your reaction, can't wait for the finale tomorrow!
