Bergljot is Skogfrid's mother.
Like her daughter, Bergliot is a troll who has been hiding in human guise for a long time.
When they reach adolescence, trolls acquire the power to take on a human appearance, making it easier for them to hide among the population.
As soon as she was old enough, Princess Bergljot left her village in the mountains to discover the world of humans.
There she met the man of her life: Leif Kjempekvinne, a young human biker with the look of an old Viking warrior, but with a heart of gold and an incomparable gentleness.
She showed herself to him in her true form and this only strengthened their love; they married and had a daughter.
Leif gave up the road to become a housewife and Bergljot found work at Mjolnir, a Tuner-Mechano-Metallurgy workshop run by two brothers: Brokkr and Eitri, her best friends.
For years, she lived as a human, convinced that her daughter was one, until the day her true form awoke.
She told her daughter everything and, with the help of her friends, had an adaptable outfit made for her daughter, to prevent other clothes being torn when she next transformed.
She still has a lot to tell her, and is afraid to broach certain subjects that could go far beyond her daughter, as trolls are far from being the biggest and most dangerous beings in this world...
