Dev Update 12/12/22 (Patreon)

Hey, friends! First of all, in case you missed it, the newest update is currently available to most patrons - I'll be opening it up further on Thursday. But until then, work continues.

I've got a decent amount of Chapter Four: Part Two written, the issue is that a lot of it isn't contiguous - meaning I'd write one scene, and then jump ahead and write some more, and then move somewhere else and write some more. But, I'm currently trying to finish up the writing for Ashe's date event, as it compromises a significant portion of the update. It should end up similar to Brittani's event in Part One, with 300-400 renders total.

I'm also dipping my toe into rendering what I can, including the intro for Ashe's date event, and a little Viola scene, as you can see up above. I hadn't intended to have Viola in this one, buuuuut I think I found a good spot for her.

And as I prepare for this weekend's public release of Chapter Four: Part One, I'm working on my ever-growing to-do list.

• There's a bit where Nicki and MC leave the condo near the beginning, that I want to expand on/diversity with a few images.
• Ashe has some issues with a few of her park images. She has some weird clipping stuff happening with her face/hair, and on the neutral/friend path, MC doesn't stay consistent in his bench placement.
• Nicki's forehead and Viola's shirt have some clipping issues in Chapter Three I want to fix. I airbrushed some of it, but after sitting with the results for a while, I decided I'll just take a day and re-render the problem areas.
• There's an option Nicki has in Chapter Four that still needs a few renders, as it currently uses a single static image.
• I want to add a couple renders/lines of dialogue to one of Ashe's scenes in Chapter Two, giving additional context to something that happens in Chapter Four: Part One.
• I want to add a little thing with Jamie reacting to one of Brittani's outfits during the photoshoot.
• Finally, there's the ever-present GUI stuff I want to complete. I think I got the text outline stuff figured out, now I just need to create some headshots for each character, to use next to their dialogue.
