Dev Update 6/6/22 (Patreon)

Hey, friends!

Alright, so - remember how I last week I was struggling with some subpar renders and background transparency issues? Well, I resolved that - but, doing so meant re-rendering two entire scenes. Which meant redoing roughly 85 renders.

On top of that, I wasn't happy with the sets I'd chosen for the two scenes, so I decided to build new sets from the ground up, using these Create-a-Room packs. Doing that also gave me some future story ideas, which I'm super excited to implement.

So, as of now I've made up the ground I lost by ditching those bad renders, and then some. The current render count for Chapter 2 is around 725, and I still have two sexy scenes to render.

Based on Ashe's scenes in the first half of the game, I figure these two sex scenes will add another 150-200 renders to the final tally.

I have every intention of finally having the patron release this week. I'm finally caught up, I've taught myself some cool lighting tricks, and I'm running my render queue every night. Feeling good about it!

Once this chapter is released, I think I'm going to make my unused renders available as a .zip file, so everyone can see why I decided to redo such a significant chunk of the art. After that, I'll be posting a poll so you lovely folks can help me decide what shape a very special Patreon reward will be taking. More details forthcoming shortly.
