Dev Update 5/23/22 (Patreon)

Hey, friends! We're fast coming up on the release date, so I wanted to share a few more images than I usually do.

Phew, what a week! I've been crunching away on Chapter Two, and at this point I have over 500 story images for the new update - and I wouldn't be surprised if it grew by another 150. I finished all my story edits, with the exception of a scene that occurs near the end of the chapter. If all goes well, by the end of today I'll have the revised script finalized, and renders completed for the first three major scenes of the game - including two pretty hot sex scenes, if I do say so myself.

I'm still aiming to release the game this week to $5+ patrons on the 28th, with the goal of getting an advance copy into high-tier patrons sooner than that. 

This will involve a few long nights over the next few days, but I'm really committed to not missing the weekend release. That said, life does happen, so please bear with me. After rewriting vast portions of Chapter Two, as well as dramatically over-shooting my render goal, I probably should have given myself more than a month.

Besides that, I have one announcement for the Patreon: I will be removing the $50 tier, and replacing it with something else next month. After doing a ton of rewriting on Chapter Two, I realized that it ultimately wasn't really fair to sell an advanced look at the script, when I'd likely be changing it.

Instead, I have an idea for something I think people will really enjoy. It'll be cheaper, more accessible, more fun, and just for Patrons, meaning I won't distribute it via public release. I think people will dig it. But, that's a problem for the Neon Ghost of next month. The Neon Ghost of today has to get back to writing and rendering.
