Dev Update 4/11/22 (Patreon)

Hey, friends!

I'm still waiting on my new computer, but work continues in the meantime!  After listening to some feedback from players, I decided to add an extra path to the first chapter of the game. This will allow the player to engage in a little light financial domination, while still ultimately obtaining a favorable ending with Nicki. Consider it a little spicy with your sweet.

Now the bad news - since I'm still waiting on my new PC, I couldn't really do any new art for the game. While I was certainly tempted to push my old gaming PC to the limit in preparing the renders I'd need, I knew that would result in a substandard final product.

However, I commissioned Horizontical, who provided the art for the first chapter of the game, to do the necessary art for this little chapter update. That should keep everything in the first chapter looking nice and homogeneous. He's been working like crazy to get the art done, and as of today, I have most of the new material in hand. 

So, at the moment I'm just inserting the art into the game script, and doing little bits of rewriting as necessary.

At the same time, I've been doing a few little GUI updates, working on making a more attractive menu page for the game (with a Patreon button :D ) and designing a new logo for game, since the Ren'py-generated title looks a bit bleh.

The next update of the game should be ready any day now. That means that it'll go out to the $15+ patrons the moment it's ready, $5 patrons on 4/24, and it'll be freely available to everyone on 5/1.
