Ah, the perennial debate - does Thor not know how to spell "Michael", or does his middle name really rhyme with "pickle"? I remember when he did a guest spot with Cheech and Chong of all people on some heavy metal video show, and they featured a video from his band, Thor, titled "Ram It Down". As much as I unashamedly adore Rock and Roll Nightmare, the casting of that movie is so weird. It's 90% stereotypical Canadian Friday the 13th ripoff (there's a mind melter for you), 5% guy with terrible Australian accent, and... Thor... And he co-wrote it? I need to look for that video. YouTube, don't fail me now! Edit: It appears to be "Knock Them Down". It's everything that I remembered. And, I want to make this 100% apparent, I was the target audience for this in the 80's. I completely unironically love heavy metal. I adore Black Sabbath and Dio and still listen to that style of music. Good Lord, JMT is terrible, but his guitar player shreds!

I just watched it and I'm speechless. If I'd had access to a TV show in which Cheech & Chong interviewed people like Thor, I'd never have left the house growing up.
