The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good HDR implementation offering an actual Peak HDR Brightness slider which can go up to 10.000 nits, but not in numerical values nor in nits.
It also offers a Black Point control and a general Gamma slider.
If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set HDR White Point slider to: +31 Clicks (starting from 0, leftmost; which is around 4.000 nits)
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR White Point slider to: +13 Clicks (starting from 0, leftmost; which is around 800 nits) or +16 Clicks (for G2) or +20 Clicks (for G3)
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Set HDR White Point slider to: +16 Clicks (starting from 0, leftmost; which is around 1.000 nits);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR White Point slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits":
In all cases:
- Set HDR Black Point slider to 0 (leftmost);
- Leave the regular Brightness slider to Default/Middle.
This will provide a balanced gamma and contrast to the HDR presentation.
