Mega64 Version 2, Episode 02: "Ode To Sue" 2005 (Episode produced in 2005, released on DVD in 2006 (Mega64: Version 2).

Written/Directed by Rocco Botte, Derrick Acosta, Shawn Chatfield

Rocko and Derek have a clear and precise plan to escape- and time is of the essence- especially when Dr. Poque is distracted with... a girl he met on MeinSpace?  It's all that and Luigi exploring a real haunted house in the second episode of Mega64 Version 2, "Ode To Sue!"

PRODUCTION NOTES:

-The Dig Dug and Luigi's Mansion skits were originally released on DVD with select issues of Electronic Gaming Monthly in 2004. Luigi's Mansion was one of the original Mega64 skit ideas written before a single thing was ever filmed.

-This episode featured The Aquabats' song "Look At Me, I'm A Winner" months before it was ever released to the public in summer 2005. However, since the DVD didn't come out until summer 2006, this didn't matter in the slightest.

-The Resident Evil skit was filmed in Missouri as a generic zombie video and was given the Resident Evil name to give it a context that made sense for including it in Mega64. To make up for this vague treatment, a true Resident Evil skit was made for the final episode of Version 2, and it went on to be one of Mega64's most seen videos ever.

-Contains the first shot of all the series lead characters together in the same frame.

-Almost every line Dr. Poque has around Sue is a quote from a terribly written angsty Livejournal account that the crew found and died laughing at.

-Someone yells "yeah" from a speeding car at the end and we have no idea who it was.

NEXT TIME: It's time for a new direction for the Mega64 system- how about going mobile? The MSFP (Mega64 Sixty Four Portable) is the new hotness, AND it's backwards compatible with everything? What could go wrong? Well... maybe everything once an annoying commentator named Benny won't leave the screen of the entire episode! It all collides in Mega64 Version 2, episode 3: "And Suddenly, Ezra Didn't Feel So Alone Anymore!"

This is the only one I'd seen before these uploads because it used to come on Mega64 TV a lot

Honestly blown by not only the great transition to the truck hitting sue (is that what is caled a "texas switch"?) but also the great framing of all the characters in the same shot.
