Such a modest count for the day, but I'm so terribly happy because I finished the scene!!!!!! 😭😭😭 It had so many variations, I had a whole notebook page of choices and text that I needed to go back and fill in. But I can throw that page into the bin too. So long, dearest, and thanks for all the fish.

That means I only have two more scenes to write before finishing chapter one. After that, I'll deep edit the prologue and add my testers' suggestions — and then it'll be ready to be shared 😋.

I've decided that I want to publish the chapters one by one on Patreon since they will all be massive — for context, just Hadrian's part alone in chapter one is about 50k words.

But I'm getting ahead of myself! Now that I'm back on my writing routine, I'm itching to get ahead. For now, however, the goal for next week is to finish the second to last scene of the chapter.

Other than that, I also finished this month's mature story. It's been certainly a way to familiarize myself with more... risqué writing since I'm still very new (and not confident) to it. 🙈 I take it as good practice for when I get to the interactive intimate scenes of the book. Now those will be a challenge!

Anyway, that is all I have to share. Thank you, as always, for stopping and sharing a bit of your time with me. The sun is slowly merging into the horizon, the afternoon gently melting into evening. The grass and dams all beg for rain, but so far, nature denies it. I hope it doesn't last for long — unlike in fictional Tarragona, we really can't afford another dry autumn and winter.
