Different sides of the same prism (Patreon)

Me after writing all the Relationship Variations:

Tiring, but it feels so good when I have them all filled up! I really want to take the time to make the Rose as interactive with your past choices and relationships as possible. I want to try and make the characters feel like real people — with working memories and feelings and their own ways to express them. 

I want Hadrian to feel different depending on if you killed Garrett or not. If you have a high friendship or a low score. And even inside his romance, there are differences if you've encouraged him to be more confident with you or not. If you supported him in his crisis of faith or made matter worse. If you kissed him or not...

Alessa is the same — did you say you trusted her at the inn? Did you try to calm her before meeting Rafael? Did you defend her when he insulted her? Did she threaten you at the tombs, and if so, did you threaten her back? Did you kiss her, or did you break any possible romantic connection with her?

Lance, Raf, Vallen, Billy, the captain of the guard, all of them will recall how and in what manner you talked with them. Like an individual side of the same prism, you'll be able to know different facets of a character depending on where you stand with them — and I've surprised myself with some of the dialogues on the different branches! 

Hopefully, all the work is worth it, and you can enjoy some sweet (or not-so-sweet) moments with your lover/friend/bitter rival 😋.
