Such a squeaky drama Queen he’s going to be. :)

Andrew McCanna

Nice! Love how the title is not the first page! Kind of like a movie.

It is scary to accept your bisexuality, bc you have to question everything about your sexuality at first. I hope Mikey finds and accepts himself later on in the comic, whatever his sexuality❤️💜💙.

It just makes him cuter……..

Awww was hoping for more of her nude. She's cute AF. But I feel so much bad is going to happen. I know sexuality is something hard to deal with and I even had and still have to deal with it before. I've been with both male and female and I couldn't go all the way. Is there a term for an asexual who still loves porn yet not real sex with either gender? I wonder this every day an wonder if it was just nerves or something else

Mr. J

I know why discovering your sexuality can be an intense experience but I think Mike is worrying over nothing. He has gay friends for support and homosexuality, or bisexuality isn't nearly as taboo or disliked as it used to be. I am curious about a couple other things, like if this is his first same sex crush or has he been in denial? One thing I am not alright with is the cheating. Cheating on your significant other is not okay no matter what sex rings your bell.

Amethyst

All smut aside, The emotion that sigma puts into Mikey's facial expressions and posture without Mikey saying a word is really well done, not just by porn artist standards but by all artist standards. That face with the drink could easily be in a TV show.

Amethyst

It's not just other people. Coming to terms with your sexuality can be really tough internally even in a supportive environment. It kinda flips your world and recontextualizes all your past memories. That's part of why coming out in an unsupportive environment is so terrible, there's pain from inside and outside.

Mr. J

I understand why it can be so rough but I feel it shouldn't be. If one day you start liking guys and girls what changes besides your dating pool and the type of porn you spank it to? Nothing. It's societies fault for turning sexuality into something that needs to define every aspect of your personality when in reality thats just one tiny part of whom you are.

I agree, too bad it took me 24 years to figure that out 🤣

Julian Fratzscher

Maybe you need to get to know a person first before you can do that next step. I think it's called demisexuality.

EzythornFox

Poor puppy. I hope he figures himself out. But he can't fight who he is.

I love the title a lot in that panel, it makes it feel like the start of a comedy movie.

"Mike's very angsty in this comic, so strap in." Well, this is a bit of a red flag. From what I have seen over the years, furry comics rarely ever handle angst well. Usually falling into melodrama that ruins the entire thing. And while obviously the topic of sexual self-discovery is not exactly a lighthearted subject, I hope you don't slip and turn this comic into a cesspool of pretentious overdramatization that borders on parody like many other artists tend to do. Especially since the first comic was rather easygoing and fun, so a sudden shift into tense drama would be quite jarring to say the least. That said, I have seen nothing but good work from you so far, and so I trust you will handle this just right.

Amethyst

As someone who has criticized some of Sig's story beats in the past, it seems to me from the way he is portraying mikey and the way he responds to concerns in the patreon comments that he is taking this seriously. For instance he made a point of reassuring a bi commenter that this wasn't going to be a stereotypical "straight boy turns gay and forgets his het feelings" story that contributes to bi erasure. He also said he isn't going to just ignore the cheating aspect either. I'm cautiously optimistic about about this comic so far so i agree with your last point.

Amethyst

It is way more complex than that. You have to decide whether to be out or stealth. Unfortunately in many communities it endangers you safety, as far as execution in some countries. Your can't donate blood in many places. Your partner isn't considered family in many places. You are statistically more at risk for STDs. You are more likely to be discriminated against by cops. There are so many practical things you have to worry about besides hookups and smut, but you are right that it really shouldn't be a big deal. The unfortunate reality is that is it a big deal and people have to live in the "is" not the "should."

Dude, if you don't want to read the comic, unsubscribe. You don't get to tell the artist how to write the comics they want to write.

Lorag

I am not telling him how to write anything. Just that I wish for him to be careful with his work. I think I am being pretty respectful about it so there is no need for you to white-knight.
