But the reality is that the harsher the punishment will not drop criminal activity as much as people like to think. Another fun mindset to think of is just how little we actually care about what’s not directly happening in front of us. Kids get gunned down in school at least monthly and we collectively move on a few days later. I’d be willing to bet after 5 years of Kira existing and killing most of us would just move on and ignore it like we do everything else lol
