We're back with a damn fine backstory episode and we really get to dig into Historia and Erwin Smith's backstory, motivation, and what could possibly drive a mfer to continue to be stone-cold badass after he's had his arm ripped off by a Titan bitey boi! 

Does Historia have the saddest my mom was killed in front of me, farm girl life that ever happened in existence, and is her CREEPY AF Big-Eyed Dad feeding her misinformation!? 

We finally sorta get the whole breakdown of how this eating an Elite Titan works and how you'll immediately turn back into a human form! 

And watching the backstory of Erwin and his Dad (who was "disappeared") really fleshes out what drives this guy and we love it!

I think you guys forgot this, since season 1 but like, Eren's basement is swarming with Titans. All of Wall Maria is swarmed with Titans. So there's very little way anyone could raid that basement without mounting a massive operation lol. But the show will eventually remind you of that so i guess youll figure it out. This show explains everything, it doesnt really have any big plot holes, i think sometimes one just forgets or doesnt pay attention to some things. Which again, thats fine. The show makes sure to remind you if you miss it.

that aside, fun episode guys! its refreshing to see yall get into all the intrigue and mistery and political stuff the first half of season 3 gets into. a lot of viewers tend to not like this part cause you know, theres a lot of talking and character stuff and not much in the way of titan fist fights and all that stuff. i did think that since yall are so into GoT you would actually appreciate this part of the show more that most do.

Idk I watched that stuff and was still in awe of season 4 and surprised by different revelations. I’m on the fence causes the creators of the show put it there for viewers to see so it’s meant to be viewed while going through the seasons. I get your point though. They should def watch at some point cause they are amazing, especially season 4s.

I usually watch the OP after the season is over/when a new OP comes about there's nothing stopping people from watch the OP after the spoilers come up in the anime which is what i've been suggesting to people for S4 P2 cuz after a specific episode ur all good

The thing is though, the anime industry is quite into spoiler culture, mainly for og manga readers if it's an anime adaptation, which is the case here for AoT, to create anticipation for animated scenes for fan-favorite moments in the manga. Same goes for the S3E12 post-credit scene, which only served to create hype for the 2nd half of the season, using no context-spoilers. Overall, with the way they "overanalyze" during the reactions, I think it would've been fine, but after being warned for spoilers, the reaction of the openings are already influenced by us so Idk.

well that's what the whole show has been trying to get to, but there has been so many things keeping them from getting there. wall maria, eren's old home, is flooded with titans. which is why the survery corps has been trying to get there and getting eren to learn how to seal up the wall.

You probably already know this but the Reiss family isn't some targ thing where the throne was stolen. They ARE the royal family and use the fake king as cover so nobody knows who is really in charge.
