Hey hey Patrons!

Hope you're enjoying your totally radical LABOR DAY!

Working the grill, maybe a few cold ones, or ordering some PIZZA?

If you wanna kick back Morgan, Dustin, and Sean with a blast from the tubular past, we got what you need right here (gestures in Pre-Guliani NYC)!!

We're rocking a commentary track for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze!!!  A flick we loved as kids and realized might take place in a secret MUSICAL UNIVERSE!

We're loving this throwback on it's 30th Anniversary!

Is Keno the body shamer the TRUE VILLIAN of this flick?

This flick is Casey Jones-less (i.e. way less fuckable) and we're not happy about it!

And how PISSED will Size-Queen Splinter be that Super Muscle Daddy Shredder's hog will go un-touched after he inexplicably offs himself in the dock/club/evil lair!?

***SYNCH NOTES: Just line up your commercial-free copy via file, disc or streaming and hit play when you hear the BEEP after Sean does the countdown and you'll be all set!

We got a ton of more stuff coming up this week but take a load off and enjoy yourself this Labor Day!

xoxo,

The Watchers in the Bar

So, my headcanon for this movie is that it does in fact take place a week after the first movie, and April's penthouse is actually Charles Pennington's, her boss from the first movie. I think Charles took a sabbatical and he and his son Danny took a months-long worldwide vacation to reconnect, or bond, or whatever, and they let April live in their penthouse while they're gone, since her apartment got burned down a week earlier.

you are thinking of it wrong. you are an adult NOW but when this movie came out you werent even a fetus so in reality he's not a teen but a hot dad :) i know i was like 8 when this came out so...........ernie reyes jr. will always be bae to me. especially in surf ninjas. sigh YUM! and even though he was playing a teenager he was actually like 20 at the time

DISAGREE! i loved the first michael bay turtles film. the sequel was too focused on humans and had that lameo arrow dude messing up my film. im team leo and april or april and donny. never got into casey but even if they put him in the film that was NOT the right actor for the role AT ALL

The one elevator scene was decent, the Turtle design and their weird noses were nightmare fuel

i know some people had that reaction but i think they were cool looking. did you ever check out the nick cgi turtles show? may be more up your speed. less gritty but some good lore changes taken from the IDW comics (which are the best turtles adaptation to me)

Fashionably Late Like Usual: Definitely my favorite movie growing up compared to the 1st movie.
