Been looking forward to these! Man this season ramps up. I do wanna say, as a massive cr fan, the show ain't perfect. It's just been confirmed for season 4 which is CRAZY and awesome, but makes me think that they made this season without knowing there'd be another, and you know how that shit works - I'm looking at you Korra. (I love Korra though haha)

So to answer one of your questions, the whole hell sequence went way differently. Zerxus wasn't a part of the Vox Machina campaign at all. He was, however, part of a critical role miniseries here recently in which he played Zerxus before he fell. The point of the miniseries was that it was days before The Calamity, the battle between gods and titans. The characters essentially kick off the apocalypse through either corruption or negligence. Zerxus was one of those people who ended up serving a betrayer god in order to save the lives of his friends so that they could save the lives of the people of the city. Their choice to write him into the vox machina story was FANTASTIC! Luis Carazo played him in the game and is also providing his voice to this animated series.

Critical role tends to shy away from tropes like "Kill the lesbians". So Allura is Matt Mercer's self-insert character. She's the one he patterned off of himself. Kima is based off of Marisha Ray who plays Keyleth and is also married to Matt. And Kima is soooo much closer to Marisha's real life personality than keyleth is haha.

Don't get me started on tumbleweeds Sean...they are a menace 😂 They originate from Siberia and are way too strong to exist in desert environments. Look up "tumbleweed storm" if you want to develop a strong and very rational hatred for a plant lol

btw. when Percy was talking about Vex "having a place in Whitestone" due to being a noble now he was being literal - the royals of Whitestone that are given a title also get their own fancy residencies to go along with that; we saw some of them in S1 where they were the homes for the minibosses (Scanlan burned one down and they fought the tounge guy in the other one) and Vex is now technically also "owed one", so she literally "has a place in Whitestone" Also, remember that Percy was the one who bestowed her with the title to begin with xD
