Specifically, according to its introduction in season 2, Mythcarver is "connected to all myths and legends, including the other vestiges". Incidentally, that is why Ripley said Mythcarver was useful last episode. That is how she found the plate and the cape. She used Mythcarver last season to find them back when she was working with Umbrasyl.

You guys are making a lot of speculations about the actual campaign so lets make something clear: very little of the details of this season actually come from the campaign. The overall story is the same, but the actual moment to moment events are vastly different. This have been broadly true for all seasons, but this one specifically made a lot of changes. So, like, I don't recommend going through that line of thinking very much. At the end of the day, despite being based on an RPG campaign, it is still a television show and it is adapted to fit such format.
