Hey hey Patrons!

We're back and TOTALLY HAVING A CHILL TIME GOING BACK TO SCHOOL with Uzumaki!

But seriously y'all, what in the hell has to happen to get these kids a friggin' Snow Day!?!?

Two girls have seemingly alive floating curls that can hypnotize and potentially kill someone.

The portly kid has literally turned into a gay slug and is crawling up the walls!

The mysterious lighthouse is now on and is burning people to a damn crisp!

When will Kurouzu-Cho finally call it a day and figure out what in the hell is going on, lol !?!?

Also, super proud of the new Dads!

Guys you need to react to DanDaDan!!! First epiode aired last week and it's very good. The manga is done by one of the former assistants of Chainsaw Man's creator. Very creative and fun

Thank you so much for shooting in 25p! In the last one you guys would react to something way ahead of time and I'd be like "huh? What was so cool about tha...oh there it is." lol

I don't know if I was just poisoned by anime/manga, but everything just made sense to me lmao. In retrospect, having your hair gain sentience and trying to murder you probably is worth taking a personal day to sort out.

This episode was such a disappointment to me 😔 the whole snail plot was so intense and disturbing in the manga, but in the anime they chopped off like 60% of the content 😭

I'm glad y'all enjoyed this! This is definitely one of those moments where it's nice to see people who aren't hardcore weebs react to this because the fanbase is in SHAMBLES right now lol. I'm sorta in that camp too, but I'm more or less just sad at what happened behind the scenes. Episode 1 was met with such HIGH acclaim and reception. But Ep 2's wonky animation and even more breakneck pacing was a real drop-off from how amazing episode 1 turned out. And the Executive Producer, Jason Demarco, did a series of tweets confirming how things fell apart immediately after Episode 1 was completed. The studio and director for Ep. 1 were fired. They outsourced it to many anime studios to cobble together a final version of the rest of the show. It just felt like one big rug pull after waiting 5 years for this to come out. I still enjoyed watching it and want to see the rest of it, but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth at what could have been.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and was disturbed. It looks like from the comments the manga readers are disappointed with this one. I only read one of the manga issues years ago. I wonder if I'll react the same when the one I read premieres.

Travis Lee

Huh, that stinks about the production changing like that. I mean, as someone who didn't read these two particular first episodes, I enjoyed this episode. But, like I said in another comment, I did read one of the stories that has forever imprinted on my brain. And I wonder if I will see if I'm disappointed how it turns out. Also, Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta creator) once said that movies etc. don't allow the viewer to take in the material like a comic does. He said with a comic you can take your time and take it in page by page as fast or as slow as you want. That's why he hated all of the movies they adapted from his work lol. So maybe that has something to do with the way the fans of the manga are taking it in. The show and the manga are two different mediums. The show is restricted by time to tell what it needs to tell. I don't know, just a theory. Anyways, I don't think I'll sleep tonight.

i hope people aren't being precious about your reaction to the absurd bits. i love your reactions, and junji ito is always high camp horror, that's part of what it makes it so great!
