Howdy everyone!

Had another good day of work today and did some writing!

6/18/24

So, I had to change some things in the game structurally. As you may or may not know, Episode 6 is when the "gameplay" changes. You are free to explore Jade City and interact with characters as you see fit. It's been pretty railroady up until now, but we're letting you spread your wings and fly!

That means that some events can happen in any episode and/or be repeated! We hope to have certain small, non-plot-relevant conversations and lewd scenes that are repeatable. Because of that, they can't exist in the same script as everything else. So, I moved them to their own, which makes this cute word count tracker a bit more cluttered than usual. But hopefully not too bad? :D Maybe I'll just have it be its own line in the future.

In terms of what needs to be written for Episode 6, I'd say we're 60% done with writing. It's a lot of lewd scenes and little scenes that I have left. I also imagine that once we get the map integrated and I play through the episode, I will find moments to change or add.

Other than that, I changed the screenshots for the game you see on Itch and sent the new ones to my publisher for Steam! The new images show Hazel with his new sprite. I also fixed 2 merch items that had Hazel's old sprite, so now they have the new one.

All in all, it was a solid day! However, my husband is home this week instead of at work, so I'm more distracted than usual. Still! We have progress!

Nothing on the art front to report. Kokman has the poll winner and is working on that, as well as the next sprite needed for the game.
