I appreciate you guys take on Hip Hop and R&B music but you have to take in account being there during the actual era and most importantly the culture. The remix was the biggest thing on radio at the time. Keep up the good work guys.

Mariah is the Queen of Remixes❣️ When I grew up, Fantasy remix was way more culturally popular than the original when it came out. The original is pop and remix is for hip hop/r&b fans. Latto sampled the remix. Also, a big part of the Fantasy remix is the use of the Genius of Love sample. If I recall correctly, at some point in childhood ODB and Mariah attended the same school hence going back like babies with pacifiers. 🥰 Mariah really pioneered rap/hip hop collaborations with pop music via remixes‼️Here are a few Mariah remixes I suggest you check out as she re-sung each of these and the arrangements are very different from the originals. A couple are deep cuts.
