2024-02-25 18:14:15 I think the downwind thing is more of a bad omen for pouf and I believe that’s how some shows or anime depicts someone that has maybe “luck’s favor” in the moment or that the odds weren’t in Pouf’s favor. Like when Hisoka projected his aura towards Killia and Gon and how they could be seen as “downwind” in a way. I think it’s supposed to be just a quiet message saying “turn back” without saying it. Also pouf seems to be someone that reads people and signs so I think it also made sense for his character to pick up on that kind of thing.

The royal guard cant use telepathy, all Pouf can do is read emotions and mental states not the thoughts themselves. Thats why he said lead me to it. If he said a correct statement and Pouf's mind was positive and happy that would be affirming it.
