Please never again One Pace, I think regular One Piece is better. Yes, their are Filler. But something of the feeling gets lost in One Pace and some little scenes get cuted but their are so importent to unterstand the characters (Sorry for the bad english, I'm from Germany)

Two major notes: 1) Don't look at the episode titles! They could spoil major reveals. 2) Some of the openings spoil major reveals too! I think you're okay for Opening 1 and 2 though. Opening 3 starts at episode 116, but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT WATCH IT. (You can listen to it, though) It spoils A MAJOR IMPACTFUL REVEAL that you don't see until after episode 130. while i understand what you mean, you also need to consider how they would feel about watching 2 episodes and the story not progressing at all. it is kind of a let down feeling imo which is why for very specific arcs, they should switch to one pace

To add a bit more to what you're saying, yes it ruins the flavor for some things if you watch one pace, if you are ok that the story will be slower at times keep to the original, just ask us what fillers are worth seeing, some do bring a lot to the story but i cant give an example without spoiling stuff. If you think it would look like lazy content or just be boring for yourself or the audience i guess swapping to one pace then wouldn't be that bad. Considering how you two are hyping yourself and making jokes about 5 minutes of stare in your Naruto's videos i think you'll be fine watching the original too, you're probably gonna make it entertaining yourself.

You know, I had recently switched to One Pace after I learned about it from the comments here because I sometimes don't have the patience for the longer drawn out scenes, but Ron's little speech at the beginning about how this is a journey that we're following along with Luffy and his crew has made me decide to go back to watching the original anime, as it was intended ❤️

many were upset that shu-shu didnt make it to the live action. but he did make a very small appearance during the fight with morgan i believe. they dropped little easter eggs like that here and there.

I just realized how slow-paced this anime is compared to newer ones like Demon Slayer. One fight might last for a few episodes, or even dozens (similar to Dragon Ball). There's a significant amount of backstory, which helps you become more attached to the characters and their stories.

The Live action only showed the mayor with the food and ChouChou running pass them after Luffy saved them and were leaving the island. I think OP fans were kinda disappointed cause this ChouChou scene was left out in the OPLA but the OPLA did give them a brief appearance so fans would not be too disappointed.

i think with the whole one pace situation is that there are certain arcs that are really slow and many don't enjoy the anime version so I would recommend to watch on one pace when arcs are slower.

Not gonna lie, the early fight scenes are showings its age. I know Ron really likes the action scenes, so just know they dramatically improve as the series progresses. The backstories also will keep getting better and better, but they definitely still hit early on as well.

Audiences change, expectations change, so manga change too. Today, it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a manga to be as "slow" as One Piece and not be cancelled because of its popularity. People simply can't appreciate a slow, fleshed-out story any more.

One Piece is so long but now that there are info circulating that One Piece has entered its final arc, I started feeling empty even when that one final arc might be around a hundred episodes still. I can't imagine how I'd feel if One Piece ended.

I don't know why people always say it's only a bit slow and treat it like it isn't a big deal. But when the slow shit hits you all will be commenting complaining about how you all forgot how slow and dragged out it is. This happens on almost every reaction with one piece.

Slow dragged out not slow and fleshed out. I would the manga is fleshed out without it being slow but the anime is padded out for $$$$$$ so toei can fill there pockets on an infinite running series. Let's be real here, they don't use the slow formula anymore because it's dated and was only used as a money formula. If one piece were seasonal the quality and pacing would be god tier

I respect your guys' view on the One Piece experience immensely. As someone wholly opposed to One Pace as a general viewing experience, I totally understand that there are points much later on where the regular anime will make a reaction format tough. Even without talking about how Toei use the anime for money, a MANGA like One Piece can't exist nowadays as I explained. so the question of the anime using the "slow formula" or not wouldn't even exist in the first place. But yeah you're right, Toei really like to put money above the quality of their shows and it's a shame. But it's the Japanese mentality in general: "if something works, why should we change?" (btw manga/anime are not recognized as art in japan, only money making machines)

i know you guys are reacting to the episodes for one piece but as something to consider (others can weigh in on how feasible this is), there are movies for the arcs that pull out the fillers though fans might have to let you know a few individual episodes to watch wherre it tightens up the plot a bit too much. Just something to be aware of.

Moji was barely in the LA during buggy's entrance. There was a joke in there for manga and anime fans where buggy asks "Wheres my dancing lion?" and then they move on lol. Chouchou's also in it for like a moment at the end.

New here, gla d you are doing the original anime since most people want one pace because they have already seen it but yall haven't! Also one pace can feel rushed at times and I feel like there are times when the pace is intentionally slower in the source material that they get rid of
