We loved this show WAY more than we thought we would when we first started! Sad to see the season end but looking forward to season 2!!!

18 players, 11 starting with 7 subs, you can only make 5 subs in game so you have options based on how the game plays out, it used to be 3 subs only but it changed quite recently

In most leagues u can have 25 registered players, 3 goalies of those 25 is max goalies u can have registered. In a match it's usually 11 players on the field, 7-15 people on the bench (depending on what league) but you can only change subs 3 times in a game and you can change max 5 players total.

You guys probably didn’t understand it the first time around but the new rankings were just on who completed the 100 goal change quick, someone could take their time and get a lower rank. Also shidou, the guy that tried to kick isagi would’ve whooped bachira not the other way around lol

soccer has a team of 16 players in a match , 11 on the field with one of them being the goalkeeper, 5 substitutes (usually including one extra goalkeeper) also a match may not start or continue if either team has fewer than 7 players. It used to be 8 to 15subs but they changed it when covid hit for safety reasons. also a coach can only switch players 3 times in a match

I’d love to tell you guys this fun fact but I’ll have to wait until you guys finish off this one show bc it would contain spoilers (sort of), so until than I hope you guys remember the characters in this show so you guys can understand the fun fact when I disclose it. Love that you guys finished this show and enjoyed it as much as I did when I first read the manga.

11 starting players 10 onfield and 1 gk. Bench can have anywhere between 7-15 depending on the rules. Basically Isagi aiming for one of the 3-4 possible forward positions depending on formation choice. Or just one of 10 to start and play (minus gk)

Maybe watch some Champions legeau games if you intrested in football its going on right now. today was a killer game a young talented team Feyenoord with a amazing upcomming coach played Atletico Madrid. Even the young underdogs lost 3-2 they were amazing and they got a Japanese striker.
