You can also watch Classroom of the Elite. It has mystery and twists like death note.

in my opinion if you would suddenly stop for 3 months i think that would prove to L that kira has inside information and then he would just investigate every detective in that team cause there would be a link with any of them , so it would narrow it down even more for L.

couple of things you guys should watch, theres a very realistic mystery/scaryish type anime called 'monster' that is great. also the simpsons did a short parody of death note for a Halloween episode where lisa finds the deathnote thats pretty fun to watch as well.

Okay, I think you guys missed that when you were watching, but the stalker chasing Light isn't L! It's an FBI agent assigned to tail him. It was mentioned in the episode, in a conversation between L and Watari (L's connection between him and the public, i.e. the man with the hat who is always dressed in black). FBI agents have been assigned to monitor the families of all the officers involved in the Kira case, on L's orders. Also, it would be very careless of L to show himself so quickly, especially in front of the suspects

The "stalker" is an FBI agent. L never shows his face to anyone, and we don't even know if he is physically in Japan. Think of him as a brilliant detective hermit who never leaves his apartment.
