Guys, could we make a thread(?) of list of episodes they should react together? I recommended a few sets of episodes, some of you might have some ideas too. I recommended watching 35 and 36 111 112 69 70 71 130 131 Edit: ofc you don't have to watch them together since this is just a recommendation and it's up to you and how your schedule works, but I think for your own enjoyment and best experience these episodes are a must watch together.

BC is the most generic as a shonen can get. Tabata does one of two things 1.) takes anime tropes and runs with it or 2.) takes anime tropes and flips them on their heads. Both of these things doesn’t inherently make his manga bad but to me it’s not very revolutionary in comparison to, lets say JJK, HP, or CSM. HxH on the other hand has arguably one of the most concrete and flexible power systems to come out of shonen jump, inspiring many others that came after and that’s only one of the things it does completely right.

cant agree there at all!! when it comes to story and character development HxH destroys BC and i love bc but cool animation doesnt make a story any better cus BC has the pretty normal shonen story. just my opinion

I couldn't finish Black clover, it got boring after 20 episodes, i watched 15 more and was not impressed. I would have enjoyed it more if i was 12 maybe.

I must be tripping in this thread. Where tf does black clover have good animation XD? BC has a few good moments of animations, but what i remember more are the parts where they had pixelated lava that could only be described as UNFINISHED animation, yet people here talking about black clover like its damn demon slayer levels of animation. Incredibly odd to me

Understand it is from your point of view and opinion. I've watched Black Clover. Read the manga before the anime came out and still reading the manga. I love it. Great Shounen anime. Love the opening and ending songs. Lots of action. Ron will like the anime since there is lots of action and comedy. However, I would not ever compare it with HxH and say it is a million times better. HxH in my opinion is still better than BC. HxH is on hiatus due to the mangaka's health and not cancelled. You should try reading the HxH manga which is ONGOINGxHIATUS. Try even watching the HxH 1999 anime, the animation not as great due to that times tech but it's good too. If you still think BC is better than that would be your own taste for anime. You are free to like your own style of anime. So guys let's not be rude to others who have different opinions.

Black clover is very similar if not almost the exact same as Naruto. Both mcs wants to be in the highest position of power, Hokage/Wizard King, both mcs have hidden power that became not so hidden later on, both mcs have a rival since they were young and the rival is a cool and popular guy, and both mcs are loud, weird, and unpopular. But to be fair, Black Clover really did get better and become it's own story as the series goes on but it does not compare to the unique and amazing story of HxH

I think Nen is by far the most flexible power system in anime, though Nen might fall into Nen types, it isn't limited to it. Best example is Kurapika's Emporer time.
