I love how Ron's asking "whats next" after they resolve this issue, and yet the show seamlessly already started setting up "whats next" with season two, without making it a big deal so its impossible to catch on

Re zero is currently beggining Arc 8 in the novels, Arc 11 or 12 would be the last i think.

Yeah specifically in this episode, I hadn't noticed the settle references the first time setting up "what's next" for season 2 like the blank letter and Ram taking the villagers to the sanctuary.

its funny Ron says about Subaru and Betelgeuse becoming best friends because in a what if story written by the author exactly that does happen. I am curious if you guys are going to upload the season finale with the directors cut or the original episode release. it would answer your where does the show go next question pretty well.

So Frozen Bond and season 1 finale next week? Was hoping for S2 ep 1 next week because it includes the true ending "interlude" scene of S1 going into S2. The director's cut episode 13 second half is the same as ep 25 but includes a part of the important "interlude" that was omitted from the originally aired S1 finale but included at the beginning of S2. Would absolutely recommend the director's cut version to know one of the "what's next" that Ron questioned about the future direction of Rezero's story but also I can't wait any longer for y'all to start S2 lol.

RE zero is not completed yet, this anime will be very long (350 episodes+) by the time its over, there's alot going on i'm sure you guys will enjoy the ride! the episodes are also longer than most other anime, average episode in season 2 for the second half is 29:30 no opening songs or ending songs, straight content!

I think 350+ episodes might be a bit of an exaggeration, but if they're able to maintain the quality, I'd be on board. Honestly, my biggest complaint with S2 is that it was too short. Rather than skipping stuff from the light novels, and instead of making longer episodes to fit more content, I wish Book 4 had been adapted as three 12-episode cours.

Not even, arc 7 alone will be 50 episodes, some seasons will require more than 25 eps to adapt and not to mention side stories into movies or ovas as well.

The directors cut would be clean for the final episodes of this season. The what if stories written by the author are really interesting too

Insane if it's over 350 episodes, I don't believe it they will condense the novels. But I do believe in your words that it will be a long story. I really hope that this author doesn't do Berserk and so many other stories, they make such a huge project that they never are able to actually finish the story. I count stories that are left undone as failures.
