actually, jjk, chainsaw man and hell's paradise are popularly know as the new gen trio of "dark" shonen manga and since all of them have been adapted by mappa... well... the vibe from those three are just special

Sad to say, i'm disappointed with that anime. The trailer looks awesome, with all that epic music. But even here, it's easy to notice, it's not DS level or anything, but that's okay, the animations are okay, just like your typical MAPPA anime, pretty high quality (not the best though). However the 3 first episodes were boring, pacing is too slow, also there'a almost no fights, and from what i've heard, in the manga fights also don't exist, it's like fight starts and then it skips to bodies laying on the floor. I'll continue, but it's overhyped, definitely.

Bro your judging the anime just off 3 episodes and what you supposedly heard from some manga readers. Just watch a couple more of the episodes as they come out then make your judgement on it.

I'm judging the anime watching more episodes than most people. Most people give the animes ratings based on the trailer, most of the hyped animes have 8* on MAL before the show even starts. In a lot of cases, people flame the anime from first episode. Me rating after 3 episodes is actually generous, honestly. And if nothing happened in 3 episodes, it's also telling a lot, idc. if it gets good in S2 or S3 bro. Also the point of fights being skipped is still valid
