Epilogue

Chase had already forgotten how long he had spent time in the same place, living with his beloved, "husband" - Roshan. Although at first he was indignant and stubborn, refusing to agree to anything and resisting, but, as they say, time cures. Especially for a young woman. Chase learned a lot from his beloved and devoted husband and, as he was a smart man, realized that further resistance would have led only to unpleasant consequences and not helped him return to the previous life.

One day 'Lalit' went to home with a several letters in hand and looked a bit annoyed and tired. 'She' sat down heavily on the chair and opened the envelope of one letter. 'She' still has difficulties with reading, 'she' looking at each word, moving her finger from right to left, sometimes muttering and pausing to remember a hard-to-remember word.

- What's the letters, Lalit? - 'husband' asked, seeing his 'wife' is looking through a large amount of letters

- ... - 'Lalit' was silent a moment, then answered quietly and hesitantly, almost whispering - Erm.... Umm, some old man... gave me this today. Said they're important. But i can't... Could you help, darling? - 'Lalit' spoke, handing her husband a bunch of unopened envelopes squeezing a smile on her face, because despite so much time here she never fell in love with him

- Oh, no problem - Roshan grabbed the stack of letters and began reading - So, the first letter is addressed to a Mr. Chase Dallek...

- Huh? That's... a good joke, darling. I told you, I'm not him. - 'Lalit' quickly interrupted with learned words, smiling and speaking softly. But in her eyes it was visible fear.

- How many times have I told you not to interrupt, you stupid woman! - 'Roshan' suddenly shouted, and immediately returned to his calm voice.

- So, letter to to someone Chase Dallek: "Dear sir. I hope you're recieveing this. I'm sorry, but the reason i'm writing is because I made a mistake. Please, contact me if this letter reaches you, I will wait you at the cafe 'Royal' every Thursday and Friday in Madurai. Sincerely, a scienist."

'Lalit' was sitting still in the chair and remained quiet. 'She' did not know what to think or what to say.

- Okay... - 'husband' began, taking another letter and opening it. - Next. "Chase, it's your friend, scienist. I'm not sure that my first letter will reach you. So, here is the second letter. We need to meet asap. You should trust me, please! Don't sign any papers! It's important! I made a mistake with the DNA tests. You are not Lalit Vijykumar... What the nonnsense?! - 'husband' stopped and turned to 'wife'. 'Lalit' froze with wide open eyes and lips, 'she' remembering all humilitating events which happened after exchange procedure, feeling herself sick and blushing. - Say something, woman!"

- Women?! What women!?! This is lie, I don't want hear about this again, DEAR! - 'She' standed up nervously waving hands in anger and embarassement. 'She' walked to the door and stopped there, felting her eyes starting to wet. - Shit!... No! - 'she' turned around and tried not cry - You! YOU BASTARD!

'She' wanted run out after hearing letter. 'Her' whole world crashed into pieces, everything, what 'Lalit' has build for months and years, was a complete lie and illusion, a mirage, like sand in desert. Even inside 'she' all time knew that. But where 'she' will go now? How 'she' leave 'her' childrens? How 'she' explain the truth?

- Shut up, hysterical cow! This is all bullshit, do you understand me, LALIT!? You're just my dumb wife. And these fucking letters are just trash and rubbish! You should have burned them. I'm very disappointed by your actions, woman! I expected more of you, honey.

'Lalit' understood everything perfectly well and fully supported his arguments. But this does not change the fact that 'she' is not Lalit. The only thing 'she' could think about is 'she' would never be able return her real body back and live normal life again after so much years.
