 In the centre of China, in a bedroom furnished with wooden furniture, lay May and Lee, a couple who are destined to spend their whole lives together. Their love began as if by itself, as it tends to happen between childhood friends; people always said they would make a wonderful couple.
They got together and were married as soon as they turned 18, their dreams came true. There were no quarrels or abuse, and May was so glad when she found out she was pregnant. It was still hard, May worked as a waitress in a local cafe, and Lee worked as a technician in a factory. But that wasn't important, they made up for their lack of money with love.
Lee gently hugged May and kissed her tender face.
"Wake up, May, wake up."
As she opened her eyes, her tender expression suddenly changed into one of terror. She screamed, and pushed Lee so hard he hit the wall of the bed, leaving him stunned and perplexed.
May jumped up and wanted to say something, but instead she suddenly began touching her breasts as if it was the first time she'd seen them. She began shouting that this was all wrong, that she was supposed to be in a male body, that there had been a mistake.
Lee tried to hug her, he wanted to help, but she pushed him away again, so he waited until she calmed down.
Finally, May regained her composure and sat on the edge of the bed. She continued to talk about some experiment, moving to other worlds, being stuck here, something about her boobs... Lee didn't understand any of it, so he thought it best not to disturb her for a while.

But I'm still me, I still remember who I was, I remember what it was like to be a man. Although my skills have adapted, my mind has resisted. I didn't want to be May, I didn't want to be a wife, I didn't want to be a waitress, and of course, pregnancy was not in my immediate plans.

The scientist promised me that I would be in the body of a king or president. That is why I agreed to this experiment!
