This is also possibly the start of yet another utterly silly set, which I squarely blame Ash VS Evil Dead, that's airing now.

In AVSED the necronomicon has a silhouette image of Ash as the solution to deadite problems. I wonder if in other times of undead uprising, do they have their own Ashes? A chosen one with chiseled chin, cheesy one-liners and a chainsaw. I'm less excited about Egyptian Ash than I am about a chainsaw with ankh blades.

Along those lines, my mind is also imagining the eternal battle of angels and demons... with chainsaws.
