Well lookie, it's an actual preview post! Haven't done any of these in a while.

I've always wanted to work on my comic for a long time, what's been holding me back was the difficult task of worldbuilding. It's an after-Earth story, so I have to construct layers, origins, landmarks and history for the characters to stand on.

I also had to delve deeply into firearms mechanism. Otto the sheep has a shotgun based on the M1897 trenchgun, I've watched countless teardown videos but nothing shows the internal guttyworks. At some point of the story I want the shotgun to fail and Otto has to get through a mess without his trump card.

Alternatively I could get little toy versions to base off of, adapt its simpler mechanism. A singaporean e-shop has those but they don't sell loose and I've got to buy a whole set. The upside is if I destroyed one, I still have 2 to take apart. Alternatively, I've got revolver mechanisms to look at.

I've also opened a tumblr for comics, just to give it a try. Nothing there yet, just opened today.

Next up I plan to finalise the character designs and overall style. I want to make it innocently cartoony, to contrast the violence and gore.
