What did you use for the base of the trees/logs/stones? It looks like some sort of pebble-like thing.

PrintableHeroes

Yeah, they're pebble/dirt textured bases, I include the art for them in the PDF and PNG files with the trees/logs/stones and you can also download/print the individual base files from the website catalog. I hope that helps!

Jay

Always looking forward to the next release. These are great!

Dustin K

These are stellar

Jeremiah Sells

Great work as usual! Are you expecting to have any issues with the new OGL from Wizards of the Coast?

Christoph Seel

Just awesome 👏🏻 thank you!

Luke Hoffman

I was wondering this myself. I hope not, I also hope that players boycott WotC if it does affect content creators.

PrintableHeroes

tl;dr PrintableHeroes shouldn't be effected. Ah, I suppose I should make a post about the OGL stuff. I was hoping to be able to hold off until they released an official document so I knew for sure what we were dealing with. I've been following the reporting on the leaked versions and my understanding is that it shouldn't effect PrintableHeroes directly - the majority of my work being minis that are system neutral and I make a point of following WotC's FanArt policy for any miniatures I create using their IP (per their fan art policy, they need to be freely available, which they all are). From the reporting the Fan Art policy isn't changing so I should be able to continue going as I do. Indirectly if the leaks are accurate and the new OGL isn't revised then there could be some broader landscape changes that are hard for me to predict - if there is a massive backlash against WotC's and the bulk of my patrons shift away from their official content and/or if another system becomes more widely used with it's own official adventures then I could see a gradual shift to make sure the miniatures I'm making at least broadly support what the general community is playing.
