Finally got around to watching the rest of the mini mini fan meet! This was the part that I really wanted to see out of the whole liver and it did not disappoint!

I absolutely LOVE listening to each of the members talk about one another, and even though there were the standard jokes thrown in here and there, there were also a lot of genuine comments and really thoughtful things said about each member. 

Would really love for them to do this type of segment again!

PS. There seems to be an audio issue with the beginning, but it gets better after the 12min mark- SORRY!

i discovered skz during the maxident era so i guess the "shift" isn't as noticeable to me since i was becoming familiar with them during that time. comparing older stuff to now though, i can see they just keep growing more and more comfortable with each other and the love they have for each other is very evident. 😊 i wish there was something more recent like this too! idk if you've seen this, but at the 2022 Golden Disc Awards, they did a compliment relay which is just one member talking about one member but it's still sweet. that starts around the 13min mark of this video: https://strayksubs.com/220108-36th-golden-disc-awards-stray-kids-all-moments/

I totally agree with you about the divorced couple concept. I don’t remember what I was watching the other day, I think maybe the fanmeeting, but there was this part where Lee Know got really annoyed with Seungmin, like for the concept I’m assuming , and it made me tear up 😭 Maybe annoyed isn’t the right word but he was showing Minho a dance and Minho was supposed to critique, and he completely brushed him off and didn’t compliment him at all. So Seungmin just walked away and sat down, laughed it off a little. I know Minho’s not actually mean, but it kinda breaks my heart sometimes, especially because it seems like Seungmin just doesn’t wanna do that anymore? Maybe I’m overreacting but I remember I couldn’t even finish the whole clip of what I was watching because I felt so sad. I get that teasing is a part of Lee Know’s love language and 2min’s overall dynamic , but it seems they really play it up for the cameras, and I get that 2min is super popular in Korea, so lots of Stays like it, but I’m really just over it… I love the kids more than anything, and I respect their wishes, so if 2min wants to continue it I won’t make a fuss, but to me, and again - could be overanalyzing, it seems like Seungmin doesn’t like the divorced couple concept as much anymore.

I think it’s hard when you don’t see what goes on behind closed doors! And especially if your personality isn’t one that likes to tease or takes teasing well. I’m in the middle. I tease in a gentle way and I can take teasing but I couldn’t take Lee Knows level of it 🤣 it’s funny because I was drawn to his personality the most at first but in real life I probably would be too sensitive to be friends with him lol 🤣

I'm think you mean the clip from the recent pilot fanmeeting where seungmin danced shinees replay in front of lee know (correct me if I'm wrong) but in that clip, lee know was smiling and laughing watching seungmin dancing. It's true tho that he didn't give seungmin a compliment or a verbal reaction afterwards. Part of it is probably teasing, but in general lee know gets so shy/has a hard time to give compliments and after playing the divorced couple concept it must feel even more awkward to compliment seungmin, so he might have been dismissive to avoid the akwardness of compliments. I think (and hope) seungmin knows this though and doesn't take moments like this too seriously. tbh i think both of them are a over the divorced couple concept. lee know in general just plays more into what the fans want to see, while seungmin doesn't really do that as much. 2mins relationship was an entertainment factor in their contents, so they could also be worrying about being “too boring” if the don’t do this concept anymore. It’s not easy to give fans what they want to see and show your authentic self and your authentic relationships with others on camera at the same time! But their relationship already getting so much softer (on camera) and seeing the fans appreciation of their sweet/soft moments, might make them more comfortable to be less teasing on camera. I imagine Lee knows and Seungmin relationship off camera being just super chill and casual. So I don't think it's that serious. But that's my interpretation. We can never know for sure what's going through their heads🤷‍♀️

I noticed their shift as well! A big part is of course the more time they spent together as a group the closer they get. But also, the more time they spent in front of the camera, the more comfortable they are sharing different, possibly more vulnerable sides of themselves and their relationships with each other. Especially Lee Know and his relationship with the other members has changed a lot. I remember when you watched the 2KidsRoom with Han and Lee know and you said that Lee Know probably only needs that one person who he 100% trusts and relies on and everything. I agreed with you then, that’s why it feely even more special seeing Lee Know relying on and getting very affectionate with other members as well e.g. Changbin.

i get that and i understand his personality / how giving compliments is hard but he still does it to the members even if there’s teasing mixed into it. especially when it’s regarding dancing the members constantly talk about how minho gives good feedback. so that’s why it kinda hurt my heart a little. like mel said in her reply, i’m too sensitive for that level of teasing. so it’s not so much that i think seungmin is heartbroken or something like that, it’s my personal feeling watching it because i have a lot of empathy and i imagine how i would feel if i was on the receiving end. i’m like felix in a lot of ways where i would probably ask what i did wrong & maybe cry lol. i realize i was probably looking too much into it i just remember when i saw that clip it made me sad.

I understand you :) I also wish they would be more outgoing but well... Did you watch the video from Veri Bokie about the fanmeeting? Sometimes they have cute interactions that aren't so noticeable.
