oh oh oh VERY INTERESTING HOME TOWN SONGS!!!!!!!!! We basically forgot this entire weekend until we filmed this so it was great to be SURPRISED with the gold rush performance referencing the NFL now that she is with Travis!!!! SLAY

As you can see, this video was filmed pre-haircut 😂 but we've just been so excited about 1989 content that we haven't given it to you until now. We hope you enjoy, and in our next 1989 video we'll be reacting to Sweeter Than Fiction TV, Bad Blood remix TV and the new voice memos 🥰🩵

Because of the 1989 re-release, people are really going overboard with the Haylor theories and trying to make every song she's ever released about him. Guys, I get it, but they dated for about three months in 2012-2013 and were talking for a few months more than that. I've seen all the timelines trying to make it a multi-year on/off relationship but it just wasn't even if it had a big impact on them. Most of it is just fans trying to make things mean something when they don't. That said, I'm not sure who Gold Rush is about but I do think it could be about Joe and her fear of abandonment that stems from the Haylor stuff. She's sang about everybody wanting Joe like you mentioned in Lover and it doesn't matter if fans don't think everybody wants Joe - she loved him and wanted him so of course she would have insecurities about that based on her past. Also, I saw a Reddit thread that breaks down how Come Back...Be Here can't possibly be about Harry but how it makes sense to be about Zac and I agree with that. I highly encourage people to search for it - it's easy to find if you Google.

So interesting to keep in mind that next week (Foxborough) was the week before You're Losing Me came out. The Question...? speech about her being happy etc in hindsight felt like her saying 'I'm about to release a sad song but I'm all good' (even if she still had fathoming and sadness left to go through)

Just wanted to comment something that might help you fathom the next set of secret songs in Foxborough. I'm pretty sure the last Matty Healy sighting was right before she left for Foxborough and then I don't think they were seen together again. In my head she dumped him then. 😂 Also Foxborough is Gillette stadium- her first stadium show and what inspired Long Live. Holiday House/Rhode Island is also in New England which is the part of the US that Foxborough is in and she commented on it briefly when she sang TLGAD. Love your videos as always!

music nerd thing here, but she doesn’t change keys for the verse like she does in the real song!! it would be a hard change acoustically with it being just her so i totally understand but it makes the song sound so different and it’s so cool!!

can you guys PLEASE watch/react to harry style's satellite music video bc of the ties to taylor(the intro, the eagles/gold rush street signs). fathoming satellite helped me to fathom more of 1989/the 1/question/maroon...and the mv was released a few weeks before the philly weekend!! also...gold rush > delicate beginning rush 😭

Oh my heart... "The best day" is also very special to me, I don't know how to explain it, it's just one of these song that I physically can't skip if it's start even tho it's not the mood, I Have to listen. I too have a very complicated relationship with my mother and Taylor and Andrea's relationship just warm my heart (but also it breaks it a little bit, if you know, you know). I do understand where you two are coming from with the Travis is as big as Taylor debate. Internationally, no they are not on the same level, but as an American, people hold Travis up to the same spotlight as Taylor, BUT in their perspective fields. That's just my take. Travis holds the #1 TE spot and several other world records as well as being well-recognized throughout the US. That being said, on an international level, Travis is nowhere near the level of fame that Taylor has!

i just found out about austin's job too! my roommate works for movie marketing for NBC universal, so turns out she had ootw tv for months before everyone else bc they were using it in a new trailer. she said they fully got the file from a dropbox link that austin sent them hahah

Emily, I completely agree. Taylor got less chatty and more emotional once the distraction was gone. There’s simply no way that depth of sadness was for rebound bro.
