I honestly feel that when everyone heard that transcendent soul altering bridge on Coney Island, the world all took a moment and went WAIT….This girl/artist is actually playing on a different level than any other musician today (I know as a real devoted fan of hers for over a decade now I even had a refathoming!) That we have an actual album called Evermore though and it has the songs Coney Island, Ivy, Cowboy Like Me, Tis The Damn Season, Willow, Gold Rush, Champagne Problems, Marjorie, Long Story Short, Tolerate It, Happiness and Evermore actually still fucks me up to this day!! Every single track is a masterpiece!! 🍾

in ms americana we do see that ME! started off on the piano. then we do see a little bit of songwriting happening with the first verse. like she sings "i know i said some bull-sh*t on the phone" which became "i know that i went psycho on the phone." we also see the producer making the drum beat a little.
